Constructed in 1750, Lal Niwas haveli at Phalodi is a major attraction. The literal meaning of Lal Niwas is Red Residence. It was gracefully built in red sandstone with charming interiors. The walls are beautifully decorated showing a great deal of expertise of the craftsmen of that era. The stunning chandeliers perforce make your eyes rise towards the ceiling. It was once the residence of the royal family.
