Khuri

Located at a distance of 40 km from the Golden City Jaisalmer, Khuri is a small village which gives a real picture of a typical rural life in Rajasthan. Khuri is popular because of its sand dunes. It can be easily reached through car in an hour from Jaisalmer. The village is steeped in Rajput Culture. The village is dotted with many thatched huts that are on offer for the travellers. A walk through the sloppy sand dunes in Khuri can a different experience altogether. But if you are not comfortable with walking in the sand, then a camel safari is the best alternative.
