Bassi is a small town situated in the brave city of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. Deriving its name from the town, Bassi Fort is the main attraction here. Enclosed in picturesque surroundings, the fort has a huge entrance gate, beautiful arches and arresting Mahals opening into lavish corridors. The royal Mewar family lived here in the 16th century.
Now the Bassi Fort has been converted into a heritage hotel providing comfortable accommodation to the tourists. All the modern facilities are available here along with warm hospitality.
If you have plans to visit the Bassi Fort, then also spare some time to go to the Bassi Wildlife Sanctuary. The Sanctuary is a home to several species of wild animals and migratory birds and will be absolutely worth your while.
