Dotted with stunning havelis, Mukundgarh is a small village of Rajasthan. It is located in Shekhawati region. Raja Mukund Singh founded this village. The bazaar (market) of Mukundgarh offers a diverse array of handicrafts which are available at a very reasonable prise.
The village also houses a fort named Mukundgarh Fort famous for its exquisite frescoes. Walk through the distinctive balconies, corridors and courtyards of the fort which give a sense of beauty. The fort was built by Raja Mukund Singh in the 18th century. It has now been converted into a heritage hotel and is an excellent place for a laidback vacation.
Mukundgarh abounds in havelis and Jhunjhunwala Haveli is one of the most stunning amongst all.
